How did you got the idea to collect video games/consoles:

James: It was when I scored a loose Ocean Blue Gameboy pocket on eBay. At the time I had no idea what it was and it had me researching online a lot. For some time all I could find was the Japanese Ice blue, but when I scored the box only for it a week later with Australian coding I knew it had to be the ocean blue. Once I saw a photo of it online featured in a little mermaid box set, I knew I had to own it. This is what started my craze for Gameboy .

What is your ultimate holy grail in your collection:

James: Rather than naming one grail, Ill name a few in my collection since I can’t decide between them. Definitely my Promotional Gameboy color Lunchables edition, prize Gameboy color from CoroCoro 10th anniversary, promotional Gameboy pocket Thomas and Betts, new in box with certificate Gameboy pocket glow in the dark imagineer, new in box Gameboy color Taiwan edition, new with batteries Gameboy DMG Manchester, and my boxed Gameboy advance SP all blacks.

Consolevariations: Holy cow! These are not only a lot of favorites, but also a lot of rarities!

James: All of these Gameboy hold some sentimental value with some story of purchase behind them and are very limited or rare to obtain.

What is your personal favorite item in your collection:

James: My personal favorite item has to be my like new complete Little mermaid treasure pack Gameboy pocket box set.

consolevariations: oh right! This was also the first you got right?

James: This was indeed the edition that started my passion for Gameboy , especially Pockets, but also Colors, SP’s and DMG’s. It took me a long time to find and is extremely hard to come by.
