Introduction:
(nick-)Name: Brandi
Country: USA
Years collecting: Since 2014
When did you started collecting:
I started collecting in 2014. I remember going to one of the local flea markets by me and stumbled upon this vintage video game booth. I spent hours that day just looking through older games and admiring older consoles that I had very limited knowledge about. I remember seeing most of the ads in magazines when I was younger, but never had a chance to play the more obscure systems. So needless to say, I walked out of that place with a bag full of older Nintendo games and a Super Nintendo Entertainment System. After that, I researched game after game and system after system and created a list of the ones I wanted for my collection.
How did you got the idea to collect video games/consoles:
Brandi: I've always had consoles growing up, but I usually sold them for the next gen console. Looking back, there was always a want to replay older games and relive those "childhood memories". As I grew older, I became interested in the history and advancement of gaming technology.
consolevariations: Awesome! so you collect a bit of everything now?
Brandi: I began collecting items that I remembered playing when I was younger. With that goal completed, now I collect anything and everything that occupies my free time.
What is your ultimate holy grail in your collection:
Brandi: would say all of my Nintendo 64 console variations.
Consolevariations: There are alot of them, any specific?
Brandi: I have many that are becoming more difficult to obtain, such as the Foxdata series 1 Chrome Edition console/controllers, the Japanese All Nippon Airways (ANA) console, and the Hyundai Comboy console with matching red and grey controllers.
What is your personal favorite item in your collection:
Brandi: It's difficult to limit myself to just one personal favorite item in my collection. I feel that everything I own has its own story as to how I stumbled upon it and what it means to me in my collection. I would have to say that I will always have fond memories from my Jungle Green Nintendo 64 due to the fact that it was one of the first consoles that my parents bought me when I was younger. I remember countless hours of gaming with friends and family on it and I am glad that I held onto it since then. Some other favorites are my Wii U Kiosk, NES Sharp Television, and anything Mortal Kombat or Pokémon related.

Cool! I haven't seen as many as this collections! I got the Jungle green donkey kong 64 game and bundle for 99 bucks at best buy. I remember playing that game a lot and only making it to the second or third level after the Jungle level. My fondest memories were of trying not to smash my controller in several stages. XD
